This is Ghar e Hira, the blessed cave on Jabal an-Nour where Prophet Muhammad ﷺ received the first revelation of the Qur’an through Angel Jibreel. In the quiet of this sacred place, the words “Iqra” — Read — descended, marking the beginning of a message that would change humanity forever.

The light streaming into the cave reminds us how divine guidance enters the heart, dispelling darkness with knowledge and truth. It was here that seclusion turned into mission, and contemplation became revelation for all mankind.
