People's Democratic Party (PDP) Parliamentary Board Chairman and Former Minister Abdul Rehman Bhat (Veeri) along with Zonal president Raise Ah Khan,Zonal President Youth Aqib Ah Paul
Town President Gh Rasool Bhat Block President Abass Khan,Mohd Ayoub Wani & Women's Wing President Parveena Akhtar & other Senior workers had a workers meeting at Mattan in which workers of Krangsoo,Paibugh, Shamsipora & Mattan Town of Anantnag East Constituency.
During the meeting Abdul Rahman Bhat (Veeri) stressed upon workers and briefed on the strategic preparations for the upcoming panchayat & Local bodies election. Additionally, they were informed about a special one-day workers' rally which will be led by the party President Ms Mehbooba M***i Sahiba at Dak Bunglow, Khanabal, Anantnag, on April 25, 2026, at 10 a.m. The workers were tasked with conducting door-to-door outreach, ensuring that the message reaches every household, and mobilizing maximum support for the event and the elections ahead.
Later he also visited khairbugh and Satrimaidan Kheribal where he had interacted with workers.
Abdul Rehman Veeri emphasized to them the crucial importance of our upcoming program on April 25th, during which Madam Mehbooba M***i Sahiba will be addressing the workers at the rally. He urged all workers to ensure a massive turnout so that this event becomes a grand success. It is imperative that we achieve a large gathering to make this program impactful and successful.
