The District Jammu Soft Tennis Championship concluded with a spirited closing ceremony held at MA Stadium, Jammu. The event was graced by Ms. Anissa Nabi, Chief Sports Officer, J&K Sports Council, as the Chief Guest.

Guests of Honour included Mr. Shakir Ashraf, General Secretary J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association, Mr. Satpal Singh, Divisional Sports Officer J&K Sports Council, Ms. Arshi Nad, Manager MA Stadium Jammu, & Mr. Indu Bhushan, Coach Khelo India Soft Tennis Centre, MA Stadium.

Medals and mementos were distributed among winners in Sub-Junior, Junior & Senior categories across boys, girls, men & women sections. In her address, Ms. Anissa Nabi praised the participants for their dedication & lauded the associationโ€™s consistent efforts in promoting Soft Tennis professionally across J&K.

The championship concluded with vibrant participation, sportsmanship & a renewed commitment to nurturing Soft Tennis as a promising sport in the Union Territory.

The Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council is conducting open selection trials for raising the J&K UT Football Team (Boys) for participation in the Sub-Junior National Football Championship 2025โ€“26.

๐Ÿ“… Trial Dates: 16th & 17th September 2025
๐Ÿ•’ Time: 3:00 PM onwards
๐Ÿ“ Venues:
โ€ข Synthetic Turf Football Field, TRC Srinagar
โ€ข Mini Stadium, Parade Ground Jammu

The trials will be held under the supervision of the Selection Committee constituted vide order No: SC/128-###II/2025/4117-24 dated 29-07-2025.

The selected players will subsequently undergo a coaching camp prior to their participation in the Sub-Junior National Football Championship, scheduled from 16th October 2025 onwards.

Eligibility Criteria:
โ€ข Category: Sub-Junior (Boys)
โ€ข Date of Birth Range:
โ€ข Born on or after 1st January 2012
โ€ข Born on or before 31st December 2013

Instructions for Players:
โ€ข Interested players are advised to report at the respective venues on the given dates.
โ€ข All players must carry their original Date of Birth (DOB) certificates for verification.
