Kashmir a paradise on earth. From heavenly hills to unearthly meadows and snow-capped mountains to exotic valleys, it nurtures everything within its boundaries. Therefore, over a period of time, it has gained popularity as one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Yusmarg is a hill station in the western part of the Budgam district of Kashmir. It is situated 47 km from Srinagar. The routes to yusmarg are from Srinagar to Chadoora, Chadoora to Charari Sharief and Charari Sharief to Yusmarg. The drive in under 2 hours by car or bus leads through Srinagar . Yusmarg provides space for beautiful landscapes, young pine nurseries, green pastures and heart touching lotic and lentic water bodies. Nilnag, Doodhganga and a nascently created artificial dam adds more to the beauty of the meadows. Nature has bestowed Yusmarg with pleasant flora and fauna. Yusmarg is often referred to as a trekkers paradise. Yusmarg has some modest stay options but some new homestays have come up around the area. Tribe homestay and cafe located at the nearest village Nagbal is gaining popularity especially among the youth. The place is rustic, wooden and reflects the Kashmiri architectural heritage.
A trek of 4 kilometres leads to a small lake called Nilnag, famous for its blue water. 10 kilometres trek leads to the frozen lake in Sang-e-Safed valley, which is mostly covered by ice even during the summer.
The timeless beauty of Yusmarg captivates the hearts of the visitors and compels them to return from time to time. Yusmarg is a little paradise in its own right.

"Doodhpathri" means "Valley of Milk."
It is said that the famous poet and saint of Kashmir, "Sheikh-Ul-Aalam" Sheikh- Noor-Ud-Din Noorani,

Doodhpathri is a tourist destination and a hill station. Located in the Khansahib tehsil of the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.

It is located at a distance of 42 km from Srinagar
and 30 km from district headquarters, Budgam.
Doodhpathri is easily accessible from Srinagar
in under 2 hours by car or taxi. The routes to Doodhpathri are from Srinagar to Budgam, Budgam to Khansahib, and Khansahib to Doodhpathri via Raiyar.
