Step by step guide to setup ZERODHA account based on my web search. Here it is:
Visit https://zerodha.com/?c=GZ1001 and enter your mobile number. You will receive an OTP on your number. Enter the OTP and click on ‘Continue’.
Enter your PAN and date of birth. Click on ‘Continue’. You will see the account opening charges of Rs. 200. Click on ‘Pay & continue’.
Choose your preferred payment method and complete the payment. You will receive a payment confirmation email from Zerodha.
Enter your Aadhaar number and click on ‘Continue’. You will be redirected to the Digio website, where you have to verify your Aadhaar using OTP or biometric authentication.
Enter your personal details such as name, address, email, marital status, etc. Click on ‘Continue’.
Enter your bank details such as account number, IFSC code, branch name, etc. Click on ‘Continue’.
Upload your scanned documents such as PAN, signature, bank proof, and income proof. Make sure the documents are clear and legible. Click on ‘Continue’.
E-sign the account opening forms using Aadhaar OTP. You will receive an email from Digio with the signed forms.
Wait for the verification and activation of your account. It may take up to 72 working hours. You will receive an email from Zerodha with your user ID and password.
Download the Zerodha Kite app or visit [kite.zerodha.com] and login with your user ID and password. You can also change your password and set up your security questions.
Start investing and trading in the stock market with Zerodha. You can also add a nominee to your account, access research and advisory services, and explore other features and products offered by Zerodha.
