History....
Suvali Beach was previously known as Swally or Swally Beach. Suvali Beach is an urban beach along the Arabian Sea situated near the village of Suvali in the Hazira suburb of Surat in Gujarat State, India. The black sand beach lies 29 kilometres from the centre of Surat and is the cleanest beach in India
This place is close to the industrial town of Hajira near Surat. Not easily accessible by public transport, this beach is best explored if you have a private vehicle at your disposal. It is relatively less crowded and far from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is not very well developed and does not have all the necessary amenities of a touristy beach, but is definitely a quieter option for romantic excursions.
