One Day, A New Flight for Many Dreams

On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday, Hirabano Khammkar Foundation, led by Piyushbhai Desai, organised a special initiative dedicated to bringing happiness, dignity and hope into the lives of children living on streets and footpaths.

The children experienced a memorable day filled with grooming, new clothes and footwear of their choice, a special meal, a media organisation visit, a movie outing and a joyful celebration. The initiative was designed to give them not just a day of happiness, but an experience filled with care, respect and memorable moments.

Taking the initiative beyond a one-day celebration, the Foundation also announced financial assistance of ₹25,000 each to around 76 needy families, helping them take steps towards starting a small business, employment or self-employment and building a more independent future.

Through this initiative, Hirabano Khammkar Foundation reinforced its commitment to Education, Service, Self-Respect and Self-Employment turning a special occasion into an opportunity to create meaningful change.

200 Free Eye Surgeries Pledged on PM Narendra Modi’s 76th Birthday

On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday, Swami Vivekanand Netra Mandir Trust (SVNM Trust), Supa, Navsari, launched a special service initiative under “Namo Samvedana Diwas”, pledging to provide 200 completely free eye surgeries to people in need.

Through its ongoing “Ghar-Ghar Drishti” mission, SVNM Trust works to make quality eye care accessible through free eye check-ups, treatment, spectacles and awareness initiatives. The Trust has already successfully completed over 49,500 free eye surgeries in its continued efforts against preventable blindness.

With the message “200 Eyes • 200 Lives • 200 Families,” the initiative aims to restore not only eyesight, but also independence, confidence and hope in the lives of patients and their families.

Param Hospital, Punagam, led by Dr. Bharat Sutaria, has installed a new advanced robotic surgical system by Johnson & Johnson, strengthening its capabilities in precision-based surgical care.

The technology provides surgeons with enhanced control, real-time data and greater precision during complex procedures. Rather than replacing the surgeon, the robotic system assists in controlled movements and accurate surgical planning, particularly in procedures requiring high precision.

According to the hospital, robotic-assisted surgery may offer benefits such as smaller incisions, reduced blood loss, less pain and faster recovery for suitable patients. With an existing robotic system already in place, the addition of another system is aimed at expanding access to robotic surgery and accommodating growing surgical requirements.

Iconic Glory Awards 2026 Celebrates Talent and Excellence in Surat

Surat witnessed the grand “Iconic Glory Awards 2026” at The Privilege Restaurant and Banquet, Jahangirpura, where more than 50 individuals were honoured for their exceptional talent, achievements and contributions across diverse fields.

Organised by Aarti M. Malke, Founder of Aaditya Global Icons, the event aimed to recognise individuals who have created a distinct identity through their skills, dedication and excellence.

Renowned actress Adah Sharma attended the ceremony as the chief guest and presented awards to the achievers. The event also witnessed the presence of Heital Puniwala, Kannubhai Tailor, Tarun Mishra, along with several entrepreneurs, industry representatives and influencers.

The organisers stated that the initiative seeks not only to recognise deserving talent but also to inspire individuals and organisations to pursue excellence and create a positive impact in society.
