In a major crackdown under anti-terror laws, a Delhi court has sentenced Kashmiri separatist leader Asiya Andrabi to life imprisonment in a case registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

The court also handed down 30-year rigorous imprisonment to her two close associates, marking one of the strongest judicial actions against separatist networks in recent years.

The verdict comes after a prolonged trial in which investigators presented substantial evidence linking the accused to anti-national activities and terror-related operations. The judgment sends a clear and uncompromising message against individuals involved in activities threatening the sovereignty and integrity of the nation.

Security agencies have hailed the decision as a decisive blow to separatist and terror ecosystems, reinforcing the government’s zero-tolerance policy on terrorism.
