Enemies not always across borders; some wear mask of public servants : Gaurav

JAMMU, Oct 30: BJP J&K Spokesperson Gaurav Gupta has strongly hailed Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for his firm and decisive action against two government teachers dismissed for their alleged links with terror outfits, asserting that “those who betray the nation from within must be dealt with ruthlessly.”

Appreciating the bold move, Gaurav Gupta said that the action is a stern warning to all those misusing public service for anti-India propaganda.Enemies of the nation are not just across the borders; some hide within, wearing the mask of public servants. Such people must be dealt with ruthlessly. Those who betray public trust while drawing salaries from the State are traitors and deserve no mercy,Gupta stated.

He said that this step reinforces the Zero Tolerance Policy against terrorism being implemented by the Government of India under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji and Home Minister Amit Shah Ji, ensuring that no individual, however positioned, can act against the sovereignty and integrity of the nation.
The decisive action by Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha reflects the government’s unwavering resolve to protect India’s unity, security, and national interest. Those who misuse their official positions to promote terror or separatism have no place in public service, Gupta asserted.

Commending the administration’s sustained crackdown, the BJP spokesperson said the move sends an unambiguous message that the era of appeasement and tolerance towards terror sympathizers is over. He urged law enforcement agencies to conduct thorough background checks and departmental audits to identify any remaining elements with suspicious links.

The government under LG Sinha has shown both courage and conviction. Every individual working against India—whether hiding behind a desk or poisoning young minds in classrooms will face the consequences. The cleansing of government institutions is vital for lasting peace, security, and stability in Jammu and Kashmir, he added.

The employees Ghulam Hussain and Majid Iqbal Dar, both serving in the Education Department were terminated under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution of India, which empowers the government to dismiss employees without inquiry in the interest of the security of the State.
