Lunch at home: Chilly Chicken + Bengali Fried Rice

That combo hits different when it’s homemade.

The chilly chicken wasn’t the gravy-drowned version. This was Kolkata cabin-style: boneless chunks. Sticky, glossy, dark sauce clinging to each piece.

The fried rice was Bengali, not Indo-Chinese takeout. That means no ajinomoto overload. Basmati, cooked a day old so each grain stays separate.
