IMTEX FORMING 2026 will be organised by Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) from 21 - 25 January 2026 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bengaluru, spanning 46,000 sq.m. across 4 halls.
Along with IMTEX FORMING 2026, some concurrent shows will be organised:
•Tooltech 2026, which showcases a wide range of cutting tools, sub-systems, machine tool accessories, metrology, CAD/CAM, etc.,
•Digital Manufacturing featuring additive manufacturing and evolutionary Industry 4.0 concepts,
•Weldexpo, in association with the Indian Institute of Welding (IIW-India), showcasing the latest welding technologies.
IMTEX FORMING 2026 will also feature some parallel events:
•International Seminar on Forming Technology, ninth edition, on 22 - 23 January 2026, to explore new trends, equipment, processes, and technologies in metal forming and related fields
•i2 Academia Square, a platform for research institutions to present their R&D initiatives to industry stakeholders
•Jagruti-IMTMA Youth Programme to raise awareness about the latest advancements in manufacturing among young professionals.
Over 600 exhibitors from 22 countries: Austria, Belgium, China, Colombia, Finland, France, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and United States will participate in the exhibition. Germany, Italy, Japan, and Taiwan will have country pavilions.
Exhibitors will showcase innovations in metal forming technologies, robotics and automation, welding and joining, presses, die casting, hydroforming, sheet metal forming machines, presses for special applications, dies and moulds, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and elements, etc.
Outlining India’s growing influence in metal forming technology, IMTMA emphasised that India’s metal forming sector continues to show an upward momentum. FY 25 assessments indicate ₹9,139 crore in consumption, ₹2,696 crore in production, and nearly 6% export growth, driven by presses, press brakes, bending and shearing machines.
