अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव 2023 की गीता रन को विधायक सुभाष सुधा ने हरी झंडी देकर किया रवाना, पुरुष वर्ग में रोहतक के आरिफ अली व महिला वर्ग में कुरुक्षेत्र की अंजली ने जीती गीता रन, विधायक सुभाष सुधा ने विजेताओं को नगद राशि देकर किया सम्मानित, गीता रन के साथ ही अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव 2023 की गतिविधियों का हुआ आगाज
कुरुक्षेत्र 3 दिसंबर(ओमप्रकाश ) गीता रन में प्रदेश के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से आए महिला और पुरुष प्रतिभागियों को दौड़ते हुए अंतर्राष्टï्रीय गीता महोत्सव 2023 का जोश और उमंग सहजता से देखा जा सकता था। इस जोश और उमंग से ब्रहमसरोवर पुरुषोतमपुरा बाग की फिजा भी बदली-बदली सी नजर आई। इन खिलाडिय़ों ने दौडऩे से पहले भारत मां जिंदाबाद के जयघोष के नारे लगाए और इन जयघोष की गंूज को दूर-दूर तक सुना जा सकता था। इस गीता रन में देश के विभिन्न राज्यों से सैकड़ों युवक और युवतियों ने अपना पंजीकरण करवाया। इस गीता रन के साथ ही अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव 2023 की गतिविधियों का भी आगाज हो गया है।
अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव 2023 की गीता रन का शुभारंभ करने के लिए विधायक सुभाष सुधा ब्रह्मसरोवर पुरुषोत्तमपुरा बाग में पहुंचे। यहां पर जिला प्रशासन, कुरुक्षेत्र विकास बोर्ड और जिला खेलकूद विभाग की तरफ से आयोजित गीता रन को विधायक सुभाष सुधा ने हरी झंडी देकर रवाना किया। इसके उपरांत विधायक सुभाष सुधा, एडीसी एवं सीईओ केडीबी अखिल पिलानी, एसडीएम सुरेंद्र पाल, केडीबी मादन सचिव उपेंद्र सिंघल, जिला खेलकूद अधिकारी सतेंद्र कुमार ने पुरुषों की 10 किलोमीटर दौड़ में रोहतक से आरिफ अली प्रथम, सोनीपत से रोहित द्वितीय, रोहतक से परमजीत तृतीय स्थान पर आने पर क्रमश: 31 हजार, 21 हजार और 11 हजार रुपए की नगद राशि देकर सम्मानित किया।
विधायक सुभाष सुधा ने 5 किलोमीटर महिला गीता रन में प्रथम स्थान पर आने वाली कुरुक्षेत्र से अंजली, द्वितीय स्थान पर अंबाला से रिंपी व तीसरे स्थान पर आने वाली रोहतक की नेहा पंवार को भी क्रमश: 31 हजार, 21 हजार और 11 हजार रुपए की नगद राशि देकर सम्मानित किया। इसके अलावा पुरुष वर्ग में करनाल से सौरव, राजस्थान से मुकेश कुमार, कुरुक्षेत्र से रवि, रोहतक से सुमित, निखिल, विकास व सौरव तथा महिला वर्ग में
करनाल से विजेता, सिमरण, अंबाला से रितिका, कुरुक्षेत्र से गुंजन, महक, हर्षिता व महक को सांत्वना पुरस्कार के रूप में 2100-2100 रुपए देकर सम्मानित किया। विधायक सुभाष सुधा ने युवाओं के साथ सीधा संवाद करते हुए कहा कि खेलकूद विभाग की इस गीता रन से अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव 2023 की गतिविधियों का विधिवत रूप से आगाज हो गया है। इस गीता रन के लिए केडीबी, जिला प्रशासन और तमाम प्रतिभागी बधाई के पात्र है। इस गीता रन में युवाओं के जोश और उत्साह को देखकर उन्होंने कहा कि सभी युवा खिलाडिय़ों को मेहनत और लगन से अपने-अपने खेल और क्षेत्र में काम करने की जरूरत है। जब प्रत्येक युवा पूरे उत्साह के साथ खेलेगा तो निश्चित ही देश खेलों के साथ-साथ हर क्षेत्र में बुलन्दियों को छुएगा।
विधायक सुभाष सुधा ने सभी नागरिकों को अंतर्राष्टï्रीय गीता महोत्सव 2023 की गतिविधियों का आगाज होने पर बधाई देते हुए कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी और मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल के प्रयासों से जहां गीता महोत्सव को अंतर्राष्टï्रीय गीता महोत्सव का दर्जा मिला वहीं धर्मक्षेत्र-कुरुक्षेत्र ने भी विश्व के मानचित्र पर अपनी एक अलग पहचान बनाई है। अब अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव का हर वर्ष प्रदेश ही नहीं देश के हर कोने के नागरिक बेसब्री से इंतजार करते है। इस मैराथन में विभिन्न प्रदेशों के खिलाडिय़ों के शिरकत करने से इसका सहजता से आंदोलन भी किया जा सकता है। उन्होंने प्रदेश वासियों को 7 दिसंबर से 24 दिसंबर तक चलने वाले अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव 2023 का निमंत्रण देते हुए कहा कि सभी के सहयोग से ही यह महोत्सव सफल हो पाएगा।
अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त एवं केडीबी सीईओ अखिल पिलानी ने मेहमानों का स्वागत करते हुए कहा कि प्रशासन, केडीबी और खेल विभाग के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में गीता रन 2023 का सफल आयोजन किया गया। इस गीता रन में विभिन्न प्रदेशों से सैकड़ों पुरुष और महिला प्रतिभागियों ने अपनी भागीदारी सुनिश्चित की। केडीबी के मानद सचिव उपेंद्र सिंघल ने सभी मेहमानों, मीडिया, अधिकारियों और खिलाडियों का आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि सभी के साझे प्रयासों से गीता रन 2023 का सफल आयोजन हो पाया है। इस कार्यक्रम के मंच का संचालन डीआईपीआरओ डा. नरेन्द्र सिंह ने किया। इस मौके पर केडीबी सदस्य डा. ऋषिपाल मथाना, डा. अशोक रोशा, डा. एमके मोदगिल, कैप्टन परमजीत सिंह, बलबीर गुर्जर, प्रवीण गुलाटी, केडीबी के पूर्व सदस्य सौरव चौधरी, भाजपा के वरिष्ठï नेता सुरेश सैनी कुक्कू, वरिष्ठï प्रशिक्षक मनोज कुमार, पूर्व डीएसओ यशबीर सिंह, साई के सेवानिवृत चीफ कोच सतपाल सिंह, गुरनाम सिंह, जितेन्द्र सिंह, पंकज पराशर, सोहन लाल, चांद राम सहित अन्य प्रशिक्षक मौजूद थे।

Promotion program on investment, trade and tourism between India and Lao Cai - Vietnam
On July 25, 2023, in New Delhi, India, the program "Promotion program on investment, trade and tourism between India and in Lao Cai - Vietnam" was successfully held. The program is organized by Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee in collaboration with the Embassy of Vietnam in India, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Indian Importers and Global Trade & Technology COuncil (India) along with some other chambers of commerce and associations of India. Attending the conference on the Vietnamese side were H.E. Mr. Dang Xuan Phong, Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Central Committee, Party Secretary, Head of the Lao Cai Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Ambassador of Vietnam to India, Leaders of the People's Committee, the People's Council and leaders of the Departments, industry and business associations of Lao Cai province. On the Indian side were Mr. Amarendra Khatua - Former Secretary of External Affairs of India, Mr. Atul Kumar Saxena President, President of the Indian Importers Chambers of Commerce and Industry, representatives of associations and more than 80 Indian businesses.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dang Xuan Phong affirmed that the relationship between Vietnam and India has been built and cultivated over generations. The history of Vietnam-India relations dates back to the process of cultural and religious exchanges over 2,000 years ago and was built and nurtured by two great leaders, President Ho Chi Minh and Mahatma Gandhi.
With the spirit of market demand and ready to prepare the best conditions to welcome businesses and investors, especially from India, Lao Cai hopes that the business communities of the two sides can promote their advantages, connect and cooperate for socio-economic construction and development, deepen the cooperation relationship between Lao Cai and localities, businesses and investors of India and India on the basis of good inheritance.
Lao Cai wishes and hopes to soon welcome a wave of Indian investors and businesses, especially large corporations and companies from India taking the leading role in building a pharmaceutical processing industrial park in Lao Cai. Sa Pa city belonging to Lao Cai has been recognized as a national tourist area by the Prime Minister; Bac Ha and Y Ty are oriented by the Government to become a national tourist area in the future. In 2023, Sa Pa was voted by CN Traveler International Travel Magazine as one of the 50 most beautiful towns in the world. Lao Cai also has strengths in processing industry associated with mining activities, with over 35 types of minerals and 150 mines with large reserves, including many minerals with large reserves of the whole country (Apatite, Iron, Copper and Rare Earth).
Lao Cai is considered as one of the eight key regions of Vietnam for the production of medicinal plants. With about 850 species of medicinal plants out of a total of 3,948 species of plants with medicinal uses, many rare species such as Ginseng Hoang Lien, Binh Voi, Tam That, Tea Tree, Giao Co Lam, That Diep Nhat Flower, Do Trong..., Lao Cai is a treasure trove of medicinal herbs with extremely high medicinal value. These medicinal plants are important ingredients in the production of brand-name drugs, offering great growth potential for the pharmaceutical industry.
In addition, Lao Cai province has applied incentives and investment support mechanisms to attract foreign investment. Investors are entitled to incentives within the framework of the State of Vietnam, including incentives for land rent, corporate income tax, personal income tax, export tax, import tax, labor support, site clearance mechanism, and mechanism for investment projects in the border gate economic zone.
Ms. Giang Thi Dung suggested a number of fields of cooperation and investment that Indian enterprises can participate in and deploy in Lao Cai including: (i) Processing and manufacturing of medicinal herbs: Indian enterprises should research and invest in the field of processing and manufacturing medicinal herbs from the rich and diverse precious medicinal resources of Lao Cai. This helps to take advantage of raw materials and expand export markets. (ii) Tourism cooperation cooperation: Lao Cai has many diverse tourism forms such as spiritual tourism, medical tourism and landscape tourism. Indian businesses can cooperate with partners in Lao Cai to develop unique tours, attracting visitors from both national and international. (ii) High-tech agriculture: Invest in hi-tech agricultural projects to produce clean, high-quality and high-value off-season vegetables that can meet domestic and export demand. (iii) High-tech industry: Cooperate in investing in high-tech industry, deep processing all kinds of copper, iron and yellow phosphorus products.
Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Hai affirmed that the relationship between Vietnam and India is at a period of comprehensive development in all fields, in economy, trade, investment and tourism, which is one of the important and fast-growing pillars in recent years, but it is still not commensurate with the stature of the political, cultural and trust relationship between the two countries and there is still a lot of room and potential for development. According to him, connectivity is one of the most important drivers for the development of trade, tourism and investment between the two countries. By the end of 2023, there will be 60 direct flights per week between Vietnam and India, from major cities of India and Vietnam, creating great opportunities for sectors, especially tourism. Therefore, the trade promotion activities of localities to India, including Lao Cai, are very necessary and meaningful activities. The Vietnamese Embassy in India supports and creates all conditions to support such activities.
Speaking at the conference, delegates from India affirmed that Vietnam in general and Lao Cai in particular are the top destinations for Indian investors and tourists with an open business and investment environment, dynamic economy, friendly people and outstanding natural beauty. A number of ideas were exchanged and decisions were made at the conference such as making Lao Cai a chosen location for filming of Indian Bolihood cinema, an Indian golf tourism destination, cooperation in the mining sector, cooperation in UPI payment in local currencies of the two countries, start-up cooperation, organization of Indian business delegations to Vietnam and Lao Cai.

The Suffering of the Palestinian People under Israeli Occupation

I am writing to bring your attention to the ongoing suffering of the Palestinian people as a result of the Israeli occupation of their land.
It is imperative that we shed light on this grave issue and raise awareness about the humanitarian crisis that continues to unfold in Palestine.

For decades, the Palestinian people have endured immense hardships due to the occupation, resulting in severe economic, social, and psychological consequences.
The Israeli government’s policies and actions have led to the displacement of millions of Palestinians from their homes, the destruction of infrastructure, and the restriction of basic human rights.

One of the most pressing concerns is the issue of settlements.
Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories have expanded exponentially, encroaching upon Palestinian land and further fragmenting communities.
These settlements are not only illegal under international law but also hinder any prospects for a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

In addition, the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip has resulted in dire living conditions for the Palestinian population.
Limited access to basic necessities such as food, clean water, healthcare, and education has led to a humanitarian crisis of immense proportions.
The high levels of poverty, unemployment, and psychological trauma experienced by the people of Gaza are a direct consequence of this blockade.

Furthermore, the ongoing violence and military incursions by Israeli forces have resulted in the loss of countless innocent lives, including women, children, and unarmed civilians.
The disproportionate use of force and the lack of accountability for these actions only exacerbate the suffering of the Palestinian people.

It is crucial that we, as responsible members of the global community, bring attention to these issues and advocate for a just and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The international community must exert pressure on all parties involved to respect human rights, cease settlement expansion, and work towards a comprehensive and equitable peace agreement.

The Palestinian People urge the world community that to shed light on their suffering and the impact of the Israeli occupation on their daily lives.
By doing so, we can contribute to a more informed and empathetic global discourse on this pressing issue.

International Yoga Day 2023 held on 20th June 2023 at Embassy of Nepal

New Delhi, India- Global Trade and Technology Council India (GTTCI) organised a yoga session by Aacharya Anita, Vedic Shastra Teacher and Founder of Sarvha Foundation to celebrate International Yoga Day 2023. The yoga session was held on 20th June 2023 at Embassy of Nepal, Barakhamba Road,New Delhi-01.

The yoga session was attended by various Ambassadors and special guests from the Embassy of Italy, Japan, Turkey, Belarus, Philippines, Myanmar,Ambassador of Argentina and spouse, Delegates from WHO and UNDP
Dr Rashmi Saluja- chairperson Religare India, High Commission of Rwanda, Fiji, Columbia and Germany.

The Yoga session started with relaxing yoga poses and meditation by Aacharya Anita which was later on followed by refreshments.This yoga session encouraged cultural exchange and understanding as ambassadors from different countries and backgrounds joined together in the spirit of yoga.
Ambassador of Nepal Dr Shankar Sharma gave a welcome address and told the importance of Yoga in daily life.

नई दिल्ली, भारत- ग्लोबल ट्रेड एंड टेक्नोलॉजी काउंसिल इंडिया (जीटीटीसीआई) ने आचार्य अनीता, वैदिक शास्त्र शिक्षक और सर्व फाउंडेशन के संस्थापक द्वारा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस 2023 मनाने के लिए एक योग सत्र का आयोजन किया। योग सत्र 20 जून 2023 को नेपाल के दूतावास में आयोजित किया गया था। , बाराखंबा रोड, नई दिल्ली-01।

योग सत्र में विभिन्न राजदूतों और इटली, जापान, तुर्की, बेलारूस, फिलीपींस, म्यांमार के दूतावास के विशेष अतिथि, अर्जेंटीना के राजदूत और उनके पति, WHO और UNDP के प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया।
डॉ रश्मी सलूजा- चेयरपर्सन रेलिगेयर इंडिया, रवांडा, फिजी, कोलंबिया और जर्मनी के उच्चायोग।

योग सत्र की शुरुआत आचार्य अनीता द्वारा योग मुद्रा और ध्यान के साथ हुई, जिसके बाद जलपान किया गया। इस योग सत्र ने सांस्कृतिक आदान-प्रदान और विभिन्न देशों के राजदूतों के रूप में समझ को प्रोत्साहित किया और पृष्ठभूमि योग की भावना में एक साथ शामिल हो गए।
नेपाल के राजदूत डॉ शंकर शर्मा ने स्वागत भाषण दिया और दैनिक जीवन में योग के महत्व को बताया।
जीटीटीसीआई के संस्थापक डॉ गौरव गुप्ता ने सभी अतिथियों को मोमेंटो भेंट किया।

New Delhi, India – On 31st May 2023, the Global Trade & Technology Council India (GTTCI) joined forces with Religare Group to organize the prestigious International Day for UN Peacekeepers 2023. The event took place at the elegant Radisson Blu Marina in Connaught Place, New Delhi, and welcomed distinguished Ambassadors and Diplomats from various countries.

Esteemed guests, including Ambassadors from the Embassy of Syria, Ethiopia, Myanmar, Lesotho, and Guinea, along with Diplomats from the Embassy of Russia, Brazil, Belarus, South Sudan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Palestine, and Rwanda, graced the occasion with their presence.

The purpose of this event was to honor the invaluable contributions and sacrifices made by peacekeepers, as well as pay tribute to those who have lost their lives while serving on the front lines of peacekeeping missions. It provided an opportunity to express deep gratitude for their relentless efforts in establishing and maintaining peace in some of the world's most challenging and perilous environments.

The program commenced with a grand Dias Decoration ceremony, where Ambassadors, Diplomats, and panelists were warmly welcomed to the stage by Dr. Rashmi Saluja, Executive Chairperson of Religare Group and Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President - GTTCI. Dr. Gupta then delivered a heartfelt welcome speech, setting the tone for the event highlighting the milestone and achievement of 75th International day of UN Peacekeepers. Mr. K L Malhotra followed with a thought-provoking oration on the significance of the International Day of UN Peacekeepers. The Keynote Address was eloquently delivered by Dr. Rashmi Saluja, who emphasized the importance of celebrating the achievements of UN peacekeepers and reiterated Religare Group's commitment to collaborating with GTTCI to address global challenges.

A captivating panel discussion ensued, featuring diverse perspectives from participating Ambassadors, Diplomats, and Special Guests Shri Rakesh Asthana - Former Commissioner of Delhi Police, Former Director General of Border Security Force (BSF), Former Director General of Narcotics Control Bureau, Director General of Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), Special Director of CBI and Dr Ashwani Mehta, Chief Surgeon and Medical Director, Kolmet Hospital. The panel focused on the theme for 2023, "Peace begins with me." The Peace Begins with Me campaign recognizes the unwavering dedication and sacrifices of United Nations peacekeepers, both past and present, and acknowledges the resilience of the communities they serve.

During the enlightening panel discussion, the Ambassador of Syria highlighted the crucial importance of learning from past conflicts, while the Excellency of Lesotho stressed the urgency of creating conditions that render peacekeeping unnecessary. Each diplomat shared insights into their respective countries' roles and contributions to UN Peacekeeping operations.

In a gesture of appreciation, Dr. Rashmi Saluja and Dr. Gaurav Gupta felicitated the Ambassadors, Diplomats, Panelists, and Special Guests for their outstanding contributions to the event's success. The evening drew to a close with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by a delightful Hi-Tea and an opportunity for networking and camaraderie.
