We the students of B.Sc.-M.Sc. (Integrated) Biotechnology Course , College of Agriculture, vellayani are planning to host a two day National Symposium “INSPIRO” as part of our Extension course. It is a programme based on the current environmental issues we are facing and what remedies we can take to overcome them. INSPIRO will be an opportunity for all the students and scientists to present their research, exhibit their ideas and will be a platform to discuss various innovative concepts. The event also includes different social and cultural events for the public.
The activities planned under this seminar include talks by eminent scientists in the areas of biotechnology, epigenetics and environmental science. We also plan to conduct exhibition with working and still models, paper presentations, poster presentations, competitions for college students (debates, quiz), industrial conclave to emphasis the biotech entrepreneurship and start-ups, social and cultural events. Certificates will be distributed to participants for their merit or winning any competition.
We expect about 300 participants from outside and 200 student participants from various institution including ours.
