സുരേഷ് കൃഷ്ണ - പഴശ്ശിരാജയുടെ ഷൂട്ട് വളരെ കഷ്ടമായിരുന്നു. കുതിരയായിരുന്നു ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പണി തന്നത്. ആ സിനിമയില്‍ ഏറ്റവും ഇംപോര്‍ടന്റായിട്ടുള്ള സീനായിരുന്നു മമ്മൂക്ക കടല്‍തീരത്ത് നില്‍ക്കുമ്പോള്‍ എന്റെയും ശരത് കുമാറിന്റെയും ക്യാരക്ടര്‍ കുതിരപ്പുറത്ത് വന്നിട്ട് ദേഷ്യപ്പെടുന്നത്.

ആദ്യം ശരത് കുമാര്‍ വന്നിട്ട് സംസാരിക്കും. അതിന്റെ പകുതിയാകുമ്പോള്‍ ഞാന്‍ വേഗത്തില്‍ വന്നിറങ്ങി ഡയലോഗ് പറഞ്ഞിട്ട് തിരിച്ച് കുതിരപ്പുറത്ത് പോകും. ഇതാണ് സീന്‍.

ശരത് കുമാറിന് കുതിര സവാരി അറിയാമെങ്കിലും അയാളുടെ കുതിര പറഞ്ഞ സ്‌പോട്ടില്‍ നിന്നില്ല. ഏഴെട്ട് ടേക്ക് പോയപ്പോള്‍ മമ്മൂക്ക ചൂടായി. ഇതൊക്കെ ഞാന്‍ കണ്ടുകൊണ്ട് നില്‍ക്കുകയാണ്.

എനിക്കാണെങ്കില്‍ ടെന്‍ഷനായിട്ട് പാടില്ലായിരുന്നു. ഈ കുതിരയെ നടത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് വന്നാലോ എന്ന് ഹരിഹരന്‍ സാറിനോട് ചോദിച്ചു. അതിന് മുമ്പുള്ള സീന്‍ എന്തായിരുന്നെന്ന് അറിയില്ല. അപ്പോള്‍ എന്റെ സജഷന്‍ അദ്ദേഹം തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

മമ്മൂക്ക പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ അദ്ദേഹം കേള്‍ക്കുമെന്ന് വിചാരിച്ച് പുള്ളിയോട് സംസാരിച്ചു. മമ്മൂക്ക എന്നെ മാറ്റിനിര്‍ത്തിയിട്ട് ‘ഈ വേഷം ചെയ്യാന്‍ പുറത്ത് 300 പേര് വെയിറ്റിങ്ങാണ്.

ഈ അവസരം കളയണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ നീ കുതിരയോടിക്കാന്‍ പഠിക്ക്. മര്യാദക്ക് പഠിച്ചാല്‍ നിനക്ക് കൊള്ളാം’ എന്ന് മമ്മൂക്ക പറഞ്ഞു. പിന്നെ നമുക്ക് വേറെ വഴിയില്ലല്ലോ. പഠിക്കേണ്ടി വന്നു
