HELICOPTER SPOTTED NEAR TIRUMALA TEMPLE

A helicopter was reportedly seen circling close to the sacred Tirumala temple, raising concerns among devotees. Flying aircraft directly over the temple is considered a violation of Agama Shastra traditions, and TTD has repeatedly requested the Central Aviation Ministry to declare Tirumala a No-Fly Zone.

TTD has already submitted representations to Union Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, and the ministry has stated that the feasibility of a No-Fly Zone over Tirumala will be examined.

The latest sighting has once again sparked discussions among devotees regarding the protection of the sanctity and spiritual atmosphere of Tirumala.

Devotees can now apply for Suprabhatam, Thomala, Archana, and Ashtadala Pada Padmaradhana Seva through the TTD Electronic Dip (EDIP) system.

🗓 Registration Period: June 18, 10:00 AM to June 20, 10:00 AM
📢 Results: June 20, 12:00 PM

⚠️ Important Note: Due to Srivari Annual Brahmotsavams 2026 (September 14–23), Arjitha Sevas will not be conducted during those dates.

Sri Varasidhi Vinayaka Swamy Temple – Kanipakam

Located just 68 km from Tirupati, Kanipakam Vinayaka Temple is one of the most revered Lord Ganesha temples in South India.

✨ Temple Legend
According to legend, three brothers who were mute, deaf, and blind were digging a well when their tool struck a mysterious object. As blood began to gush from the well, all three were miraculously cured of their disabilities. The villagers discovered the self-manifested (Swayambhu) idol of Lord Ganesha in the well.

💧 Even today, the deity remains in a well that is always filled with water. Devotees believe the idol continues to grow in size over time, with only the knee and abdomen currently visible.

🏛️ History
The temple was originally built in the early 11th century CE by the Chola Emperor Kulottunga I and was later expanded in 1336 by the Vijayanagara rulers.
