MP Saleng A. Sangma is being wrongly accused by some local leaders and political opportunists who are twisting facts for their own gain.
Let’s be clear, Sir Saleng never supported illegal migrants or Rohingyas.
His protest was against the forced eviction of indigenous, tribal, and poor families in Assam — families who have lived there for generations but are now being pushed out so that corporate giants like Adani, Patanjali, and Reliance can take over their land.
He spoke up for tribal rights, for our land, people, and identity something few dare to do.
While some are playing dirty politics and spreading lies, Sir Saleng is standing strong with the people. He has always been the voice of the voiceless and we are proud of his courage.
Real leaders protect their people, not corporate profits.
