This is what I got after harvesting 2 pineapples from my own garden 😍. Isn’t that cool?
I still remember the first shoot which we had got from a pineapple seller and had sown it in a pot, not knowing if it would ever turn into a real pineapple. And look at us after all these years, growing so many pineapples in our tiny garden.

Reusable menstrual cloth pads for heavy flow from .innovations
These are so far the best cloth pads I’ve used on my heavy flow days. This is my personal review, not sponsored by the brand.
What makes AnuBha pads different from other heavy flow pads?
AnuBha pads are made up of multiple layers such as bamboo, fleece, flannel, cotton and PUL unlike other cloth pads in the Indian markets which are just made up of extra cloth layers.
This makes AnuBha pads to have a much higher absorbency than regular pads, without making them bulky.
These pads also dry much faster and are easier to wash.

Unbelievable, right?
I used 900 store credits (which I’d earned by giving away my old gently used stuff) and just paid ₹100 for all these things!
Thrifting helps you save money.
It helps you give a second life to stuff you no longer need.
It’s good for the environment.

Disposing a Bamboo Toothbrush
So there’s nothing like a 100% eco-friendly toothbrush in the market. ( Unless you want to use an all natural daatun or just use your fingers to brush your teeth 😃).
Every bamboo toothbrush that’s available, still comes with nylon bristles. So here’s what I do when my toothbrush is ready for disposal.
Just apply force and break the bamboo toothbrush into two pieces.
Dispose the handle in your compost pile. It is 100% biodegradable. It takes longer than your usual food scraps to break down but it eventually does.
And dispose the bristles part in your dry waste.
I know this is not the most perfect way to dispose a bamboo toothbrush. Ideally you should be taking pliers and removing the nylon bristles one by one. But Trust me, I have tried that. It’s not so easy plus it is quite time consuming. So breaking into 2 is what works best for me.
Alternatively, you can get creative and repurpose the bamboo handle as a name plate for your seedling tray or repurpose the toothbrush to clean difficult corners in a sink.
