*SERU a step ahead in fostering National Identity and foster spirit of oneness among students.:- LOP Sunil Sharma*
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Jammu Kashmir hosted a civic reception program for the ‘Rashtriya Ekta Yatra.’ This 10-day journey initiated from Leh, has traversed through Delhi, Amritsar, and Dharamshala before reaching Jammu. Twenty students from Ladakh had participated in this significant journey in which they interacted with the eminent personalities and had a enriching experience which was memorable one .
Today in Public reception program Of SERU Leader of Opposition J&K Legislative Assembly Sh. Sunil Sharma graced the program as the Chief Guest and Prof. Milind Marathe, Chairman, National Book Trust joined as Guest of Honour .
This Yatra is a part of the ‘Students Experience in Regional Understanding’ (SERU) project primarily aimed at acquainting the students with the cultural diversity of the nation and fostering the spirit of national unity and integrity among them.
The chief guest Sh. Sunil Sharma stated, “The Rashtriya Ekta Yatra is a commendable initiative by the ABVP which brings students together from Ladakh and various parts of India under the slogan of "One nation,one culture, one Identity" which underscores the importance of cultural understanding and national unity. In a region which has faced tremendous challenges, such programs plays a crucial role in fostering a sense of belonging and shared identity. The experiences of these young ambassadors will undoubtedly contribute to a stronger and more unified India."
The Guest of honour Sh. Milind Marathe said, “Students Experience in Regional Understanding (SERU) project, exemplified by this 'Rashtriya Ekta Yatra,' is a vital endeavour in building a cohesive national identity. This Yatra allows students to experience the diverse tapestry of India which will promote intellectual and cultural enrichment.He commended the efforts of ABVP for organizing this enriching journey."

Few SERU Delegates Dorjay Namgyal, Sonam Angmo,Stanzin Zinba ,also shared their experiences of Rashtriya Ekta Yatra 2025 in which they mentioned about the cordial welcome that they had received and it will definitely help in embarking on a journey of" VASUDEVAYA KUTUMBAKAM"
Zonal Org. Secretary Gaurav Attri Ji, Ashok Kaul Ji State Org. Secretary BJP Jammu Kashmir,Shagun Parihar (MLA Kishtwar) Sunil Bhardwaj (MLA Ramnagar)and other ABVP activists, students and galaxy of intellectuals were part of this event and it was really a commendable journey that will echo in the hearts of SERU participants forever.
