*Bottlegger Arrested with 39 Quarters of Illicit Liquor in Ramnagar*

Udhampur, August 11:

Continuing its drive against the illegal liquor trade, Udhampur Police apprehended one person during patrolling in the Gurlang area of Ramnagar.

Police party of PS Ramnagar apprehended *Om Parkash Singh S/o Madan Lal R/o Godamb, Tehsil Ramnagar, District Udhampur*. During checking, 39 quarters (250 ml each) of JK Special Whisky were recovered from his possession.

In this regard, *FIR No. 130/2026 U/S 48(a) Excise Act has been registered at PS Ramnagar* and further investigation is underway.

Sad Demise

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that Shri Rajinder Kumar Ji passed away today in Chenani due to a heart attack.

His last rites will be performed tomorrow at 11:30 AM in Chenani.

May Almighty God grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give strength and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
