Home Guards of Jammu and Kashmir have stated that the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has recently announced recruitment for 1,815 posts in the Police Department, but no age relaxation has been provided for Home Guards.
They have demanded that since Home Guards have been serving alongside the Police Department for many years, they should be granted age relaxation so that they can also participate in the recruitment process and submit their application forms for police jobs.
The Home Guards believe that providing age relaxation would be a fair step and a recognition of their dedication and services.

Bhalessa :-Daleep Singh Parihar, MLA Bhaderwah inaugurated the Dharewri-Shoran Balla Road in Bhalessa today. The 7-km road is expected to benefit around 3,000 residents.

Change of Land Use cases approved at Doda

DODA, DECEMBER 26: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Sh. Harvinder Singh,IAS today chaired a meeting of the District Level Committee on Change of Land Use (CLU) in his chamber to deliberate upon and accord approval to the CLU proposals.

The committee examined the CLU cases in detail. After comprehensive deliberations and due scrutiny of all technical, legal and environmental aspects, the committee unanimously approved all the cases, thereby facilitating regulated, planned and sustainable development in the district.

The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda, Chief Executive Officer BDA, General ManagerDIC, Superintending Engineer, PWD (R&B) Circle, Superintending Engineer, Jal Shakti (Hydraulic), Superintending Engineer, JPDCL, Divisional Forest Officers, representatives from the Agriculture Department, PMGSY, concerned Tehsildars, Pollution Control Committee Doda and other concerned officers.
