With the market launch of the new "Pure" bag line, Riedle is relying entirely on recycled paper for the first time – relying on the premium quality of Greenium paper from the Koehler Paper site in Greiz, made from 100 percent secondary fibers.
Recycled paper without compromise
High-quality feel, brilliant print results and a wide range of finishing options meet consistent sustainability in this cooperation. Riedle, known for customized carrier bag solutions, had long been searching for a recycled paper that met its high standards in terms of finishing, durability, and design. With the Greenium papers "creative print" and "Koehler Eco®," this gap has now been closed.

The paper industry is witnessing a surge in diversification and new product development, with Oil & Grease Resistant (OGR) paper gaining traction, especially in PFAS-free food packaging.

Chung Hwa Pulp Corporation has awarded international technology group ANDRITZ an order to supply environmentally leading chemical recovery technologies for its pulp mill in Hualien, Taiwan. The start-up is scheduled for the second quarter of 2027.

Project Manager Chang Mingyih at Hualien mill of Chung Hwa Pulp Corporation said: “The equipment and solutions from ANDRITZ will enable us to maximize our mill’s operational efficiency while minimizing resource use and maintaining low emission levels.”
The ANDRITZ scope of supply includes:

A new recovery boiler designed for a capacity of 1,400 tds/d with steam parameters of 105 bar(a) and 515°C. The state-of-the-art recovery boiler will enable efficient chemical recovery at low emissions and significantly increase the mill’s renewable energy production. The boiler features digitalization products such as advanced process controls.

Fripa Papierfabrik Albert Friedrich KG, a leading German tissue producer, has awarded international technology group ANDRITZ the contract to deliver a complete PrimeLine tissue machine to the company’s mill in Miltenberg, Germany.

The PrimeLine machine will have a capacity of 37,000 t/a, with a design speed of 2200 m/min and a web width of 2.72 m. ANDRITZ will execute the project on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) basis. Start-up is planned for the fourth quarter of 2026.
