The Global India Business Forum (𝐆𝐈𝐁𝐅), an international business chamber met the Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Republic of India, at the Ethiopian Embassy on November 19, 2024.

Founder and Global President of GIBF, Dr.Jitendra Joshi and Co-founder and Secretary General Deepali Gadkari shared about GIBF’s objectives and initiatives with the Ethiopian Ambassador, H.E. Fesseha Shawel Gebre. They conferred on the possibility of collaboration to bolster Ethiopia-India economic ties.

Dr.Jitendra Joshi briefed the ambassador on GIBF’s initiatives to strengthen the robust economic relations between the two nations through India-Ethiopia Business and Cultural Council, an initiative by the GIBF.

The ambassador appreciated GIBF’s collaboration on promoting the Ethiopian trade and investment opportunities. He also reaffirmed the embassy’s commitment to implement the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations and GIBF.

The GIBF team also presented the Honorary Membership memento to the ambassador and the GIBF brochure

The Global India Business Forum (GIBF), a leading international business chamber in collaboration with Ethiopia’s Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce (AACCSA) organized a Virtual B2B Networking Meet to facilitate the interaction between Indian and Ethiopian business leaders on November 15, 2024.

Mr. Gebru Teklay, Second Secretary/Head of Economic Section, Embassy of Ethiopia was present for the virtual meeting. Also present were Mebratu Belachew, Director Trade Fair and Investment Management at AACCSA, Mr. Zakaris and Mr. Embete of AACCSA.

More than 40 Indian and 30 Ethiopian business leaders, exporters and importers from various sectors participated in the meet and spoke about their respective businesses. The business leaders from both the countries had a good B2B meeting and networking wherein they understood each other’s businesses and investment prospects.

The GIBF and AACCSA formed a Whatsapp Group to enable business leaders, exporters and importers from both the countries interact with each other directly and establish trade relations.

The Global India Business Forum (GIBF) - an international business chamber, met the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of India, H.E. Dr. Iraj Elahi and Commercial Attache, Dr. Hossein Bamiri, on November 20, 2024 when they discussed on collaboration for better trade relations.

On behalf of GIBF, Founder and Global President of GIBF, Dr. Jitendra Joshi and Co-founder and Secretary General Deepali Gadkari explained about GIBF’s objectives and initiatives with the ambassador. H.E. Dr. Iraj Elahi, Dr. Hossein Bamiri and the GIBF team discussed about strengthening the economic ties further through greater collaboration between the two countries.

The GIBF team also explained how the India-Iran Business and Cultural Councils, an initiative by the GIBF, could amplify relations between the two countries. The ambassador while appreciating GIBF’s efforts in promoting bilateral trade and investment opportunities between countries assured his embassy’s support to GIBF.

The Global India Business Forum (GIBF) - an international business chamber, met the High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus to the Republic of India, H.E. Evagoras Vryonides, on November 20, 2024.

On behalf of GIBF, Founder and Global President of GIBF, Dr. Jitendra Joshi and Co-founder and Secretary General Deepali Gadkari were present. They presented GIBF’s Honorary Membership memento and brochure to the high commissioner. The GIBF team shared about GIBF’s objectives and initiatives with him. H.E. Evagoras Vryonides and the GIBF team discussed about possible collaboration between the two countries to strengthen economic relations.

Dr. Joshi briefed the ambassador on GIBF’s initiatives to strengthen economic relations between nations through Business and Cultural Councils, an initiative by the GIBF. Dr. Joshi said that the creation of India-Cyprus Business and Cultural Council would significantly help in boosting trade relations between the two nations.

𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐲

The Global India Business Forum (GIBF), a leading international business chamber, in collaboration with Bombay Industries Association (BIA), handled an incoming business delegation from Norway at The Club, DN Nagar in Andheri, Mumbai (Maharashtra) on November 19, 2024.

The event was graced by the Hon. Consul General of India for Rogaland and Agder, Mr. Prem Prakash. He was felicitated by BIA and GIBF.

The Norwegian delegation comprised of 40 companies and more than 100 Indian companies. The sectors included – energy, oil and gas, water, cosmetics, biogas, engineering services, industrial materials investment, investment promotion India, startup platforms, strategic advisory firms, and chambers of commerce. Representatives from municipality and universities were also present.
Mr. Helge Tryti, Chairman of Norway-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry represented the Norwegian delegates.
The GIBF and BIA introduced their firms and briefed the delegation about the event. Mr. Tryti delivered the introduction speech and expressed interest in strengthening bilateral trade relations with India.

The delegates introduced their companies and expressed interest for business in their respective sectors which was followed by a B2B session. The participants had excellent networking amongst themselves. Several collaborations are underway.
