Popular Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, aka Tems, has been nominated for the Best Original Song Oscar. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on March 12 in Los Angeles. Tems was nominated for her collaboration with Rihanna on the song "Lift Me Up" one of the songs on the "Wakanda Forever" soundtrack. She is the first Nigerian artiste to be nominated for the Oscars.
