Grateful that this year we could bring smiles to 20 cancer patients by helping them celebrate Onam. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who stood with me in this effort.

In today’s article published by The Indian Express about the CBSE’s mandate to install CCTV cameras in schools, I shared my concerns and views on the need to balance safety with children’s privacy, emotional well-being, and free expression.

It was a pleasure reconnecting with Dr. Amar Patnaik ji, former MP and IA&AS officer. He served as the Principal Accountant General (PAG) of Kerala. A visionary leader with a remarkable track record.

My views featured in The New Indian Express on the need for a policy framework for child social media influencers.
We urgently need a framework that protects children’s privacy, mental health, and future especially when their digital presence is shaped by others.

I strongly believe institutions like the child rights commissions must step in, conduct focused studies, and submit clear recommendations to government. These should not remain on paper, they must translate into timely action.

This is not about restricting creativity. It’s about ensuring that a child’s worth is never tied to metrics, and that childhood remains a space of dignity not digital exploitation.

Congratulations to my student Lekshmi from Karuvatta for securing the 4th rank in the IGRUA All India Entrance Examination under the OBC category.

Indira Gandhi Institute of Aeronautics (IGRUA), located in Raebareli, is the oldest & only government flying academy in India under the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The selection process includes multiple stages a written test, online aptitude test, English language proficiency test and an interview.

Among thousands of candidates who appeared for the exam, Lekshmi has achieved outstanding success and brought pride to our Haripad.

I still remember Lekshmi as an 8th standard student who attended my social responsibility camp which I had organized for children in 2019. Since then, she has always been in touch curious to know more, eager to learn, and sharing every achievement with me. She even stayed connected during her preparation for this exam.

Finally, she made it! She's going to shine. I'm proud to have been her mentor since her school days. Wishing you all the very best, Lekshmi. God bless you.

It was a special meeting in Chengannur today with Member of Kerala State Child Rights Commission Adv Jalaja Chandran. This was our first interaction after the Commission issued a crucial order for the protection of children of migrant workers in Kerala an order that was issued by Jalaja Chechi herself, based on a petition I had submitted.

The Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has directed urgent steps to ensure shelter, education, and protection for the children of migrant labourers who come to Kerala for work. The order recommends that local child protection and welfare committees collect detailed information at the panchayat level. These reports will be compiled by the District Child Protection Units to make sure necessary services reach the children.

Importantly, the Commission has instructed that police GRP (Government Railway Police) cells must include officers who can communicate in the regional languages spoken by migrant children, since many of them are unable to raise complaints due to language barriers. Local bodies have also been asked to provide translators to support awareness programs and help solve the issues faced by these children.

To ensure effective implementation, the Commission has also written to the Principal Director of the Local Self Government Department and the Director of the Women and Child Development Department.

This order is a major step toward ensuring safety and dignity for migrant workers' children in Kerala.
Thank you, Jalaja Chechi, for this historic order🙏🏻😊

Today was a truly special day. Along with Prathyasha, the only child in Kerala diagnosed with the rare Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (Vascular Type 4), we met Hon’ble MP Shri Kodikunnil Suresh ji today.

With his kind support, she has secured admission to BSW course at St. Thomas College, Konni, without any fee, that will ease the burden on her family. This is a big step forward in her journey.

Thank you so much, Shri Kodikunnil Suresh ji, for standing by us and helping make this possible.

I feel truly blessed to be able to stand with children like Prathyasha — not just as an activist, but as a brother.

And to Prathyasha — we are here for you, always. Keep going strong. You inspire more than you know. 💜

Many flew today with dreams in their hearts and destinations in their minds. But life had other plans.

Deeply saddened by the tragic incident involving the Ahmedabad flight. My prayers are with all the passengers, their families, and the brave rescue teams on the ground.

There is an urgent need for medical assistance. I humbly request everyone—especially those nearby—to extend help in any way possible.

In moments like these, humanity must rise above all. Let’s stand together. 🙏
