Dr. Pankaj Dawar did his medical graduation and post-graduation in General Surgery (M.S.) from the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 2007. He completed his neurosurgical residency training (M.Ch) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 2011. A Neurosurgeon, trained from the best of the institutes in India, committed for excellence in the field and continuous development of skills, Dr. Pankaj Dawar is working as Neurosurgeon with a special interest in spine surgery and brachial plexus surgery and pediatric neurosurgery. He has special expertise in CVJ, cervical, dorsal & lumbar instrumentation with more than 1000 instrumentation procedures performed independently. He has been performing instrumented/ Non instrumentation spine surgeries including minimally invasive techniques. He has a vast surgical experience and expertise in operating all kinds of supratentorial and infratentorial brain tumors like gliomas, meningiomas, medulloblastomas, and acoustic schwannomas, pituitary tumors, skull base tumors, and spinal tumors. He also has a special training in treating all types of spinal trauma and spinal instrumentation in cervical, dorsal and lumber spine, minimally invasive spine surgery and percutaneous spinal instrumentation. He also has keen interest and expertise in performing peripheral nerve surgery including brachial plexus injury repair and endoscopic carpal tunnel release procedures.
