Part - 2
When officers ask for her ID and question how much she had to drink, the situation escalates fast. Emily tells officers her boyfriend is a police officer, claims she knows multiple people in law enforcement, and repeatedly accuses the officers of targeting her because of who she is connected to.
Officers arrest her for suspected DUI, resisting, and obstructing. During the encounter, Emily continues yelling from the patrol car, refuses to cooperate with the breath test process, and warns officers that they are going to lose their jobs.
According to court records, Emily was arrested on charges including felony battery or threat to an officer, resisting or obstructing an officer, resisting or failing to stop, and disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $750. The case was later resolved when prosecutors dismissed the felony battery/threat charge and the resisting/failing to stop charge. Emily was found guilty of the remaining charges and sentenced to pay $200 in fines, with no jail or probation.
