আজ কাছাড়ের জেলাশাসক, শ্রীযুক্ত মৃদুল যাদব, ভাঃপ্রঃসেঃ মহাশয়ের পৌরোহিত্যে এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হয়, যেখানে আগামী অক্টোবর ২০২৫ থেকে অ-ভর্তুকিযুক্ত পরিকল্পনায় ন্যায্য মূল্যের দোকানগুলির মাধ্যমে অত্যাবশ্যকীয় পণ্য—যেমন মুসুর ডাল, চিনি এবং লবণ—বিতরণের একটি পাইলট প্রকল্প নিয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা হয়।

মূল আলোচনা ও সিদ্ধান্তসমূহ:
✔ অনুসরণ বৈঠক: সকল এফপিএস অপারেটরদের অবশ্যই ৮ই আগস্ট ২০২৫, সকাল ১০টায় শিলচরের আশীর্বাদ ভবনে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অনুসরণ বৈঠকে অংশগ্রহণ করতে হবে। গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত সঞ্চয় ও সেবা সমিতির (জিপিএসএস) সচিবদের পূর্ণ উপস্থিতি নিশ্চিত করার নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়।

✔ ই-কেওয়াইসি সংশোধন: একটি বড় সমস্যা উঠে এসেছে—আধার ও রেশন কার্ডের নামের অমিলের কারণে অনেক রেশন কার্ড সঠিক ই-কেওয়াইসি ছাড়াই জারি করা হয়, এবং হিতাধিকারীরা নিজেরা এই ত্রুটিগুলো সংশোধন করতে পারবেন না। তাই, আগামী ৭ই আগস্ট এফপিএস অপারেটরদের প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া হবে যাতে তারা কার্ডধারীদের ই-কেওয়াইসি প্রক্রিয়া সম্পূর্ণ করতে সহায়তা করতে পারেন।

✔ ই-পিওএস যন্ত্রগুলোকে চালু ও কার্যকর, এবং সমবায় ভিত্তিতে ই-কেওয়াইসি বাস্তবায়ন নিবিড়ভাবে পর্যবেক্ষণ করা হবে। যে কোনো এফপিএস যদি ই-কেওয়াইসি আপলোড বাকি রাখে, তাদের বিরুদ্ধে তদন্ত হবে।

✔ অভিযোগ নিষ্পত্তি: প্রায় ১৫,০০০ রেশন কার্ডধারী চাল সংগ্রহ করছেন না—অনলাইন ত্রুটিগুলো ঠিক করা হচ্ছে। ক্যান্সার রোগীদের আবেদন ও রেশন কার্ডে নাম সংযোজন/বিয়োজন নির্বাচন-পরবর্তী সময়ে প্রক্রিয়া করা হবে।

জেলাশাসক মহোদয় স্বচ্ছতা ও দ্রুততার সঙ্গে পণ্য বিতরণ প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন করার ওপর জোর দেন।

Today, District Commissioner, Cachar, Shri Mridul Yadav, IAS chaired a meeting to discuss the upcoming pilot scheme regarding distribution of essential commodities -- Masur Dal, Sugar, and Salt -- through Fair Price Shops (FPS) starting October 2025 (non subsidised Scheme).

Key Discussions & Decisions:
✔ Follow-up Meeting: All FPS operators must attend a crucial follow-up meeting on 8th August 2025 at 10:00 AM at Ashirvaad Bhawan, Silchar. GPSS Secretaries have been directed to ensure full participation.

✔ Addressing eKYC: A major concern raised was that leading to mismatches between Aadhaar and Ration Card names ration cards were issued without proper eKYC, and beneficiaries cannot correct these errors themselves. FPS operators will therefore be trained on 7th August to assist cardholders in completing all eKYC formalities.

✔ ePOS devices must be functional, and cooperative-wise eKYC compliance will be monitored closely. Any FPS with pending eKYC uploads will be investigated.

✔ Grievance Resolution: 15,000 cardholders not lifting rice—online glitches being fixed. Cancer-patient petitions & ration-card additions/deletions to be processed post-election.

The DC Cachar Sir emphasised transparency and efficiency in the distribution process.

গতকাল দক্ষিণ করিমগঞ্জে NSUI কর্মীরা রাস্তায় নেমে প্রতিবাদ করে, বিজয় মালাকারের কুশপুতুল দাহ করে ক্ষোভ প্রকাশ করে।

Yesterday, NSUI Karimganj District submitted 3 memorandums to the Assam Education Minister, DHE, and Assam University demanding:
1️⃣ Reopening of the Samarth Portal for CBSE students (12th Compartment results out on 1st Aug, but portal closed on 30th July)
2️⃣ Refund of rechecking/re-evaluation fees due to delayed result declaration.
