Bengaluru–Belagavi Vande Bharat Express Premium Service Begins Today, August 11

The new Bengaluru–Belagavi Vande Bharat Express, designed for faster, safer, and more comfortable travel, begin its commercial operations on August 11, 2025. Operating as train numbers 26751/26752, it will cover the route with halts at Yesvantpur, Tumakuru, Davangere, SMM Haveri, SSS Hubballi, and Dharwad.

Train no. 26751 will depart Belagavi at 05:20 hrs, reaching KSR Bengaluru at 13:50 hrs, while train no. 26752 will depart Bengaluru at 14:20 hrs and arrive in Belagavi at 22:40 hrs. The eight-coach composition includes four Motor Cars, one Trailer Car, one Executive Class Trailer Car, and two Driving Trailer Cars.

Passengers can choose between AC Chair Car (₹1,575) and Executive AC Chair Car (₹2,905) for the full journey. The service is expected to boost connectivity across Karnataka, offering a premium high-speed travel option between the state’s tech capital and its north-western hub.

The new routes include Bengaluru–Belagavi, Nagpur–Pune, and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra–Amritsar, aimed at enhancing connectivity, trade, tourism, and pilgrimage travel.

India Marks Milestone with Launch of 150th Vande Bharat Express

Bengaluru, August 10 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi today flagged off three new Vande Bharat Express trains from Bengaluru, taking the total number of Vande Bharat services across the country to 150. These new semi-high-speed trains will directly benefit the states of Karnataka, Maharashtra, Jammu & Kashmir, and Punjab, further accelerating regional connectivity, development, and self-reliance.

The Three New Vande Bharat Routes and Key Stops:

Belagavi – Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna (Bengaluru) Vande Bharat Express
Key Stops: Dharwad, Hubballi, Haveri, Davanagere, Tumakuru, Yeshwantpur
This marks the 11th Vande Bharat service in Karnataka. Belagavi, a rapidly developing city in north Karnataka, is now connected to the tech capital Bengaluru, enhancing regional access for education, healthcare, tourism, and business. The train will significantly reduce travel time on the 500 km route and improve access to popular tourist destinations like Hampi, Gokarna, and Badami.

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Amritsar Vande Bharat Express
Key Stops: Jammu Tawi, Pathankot Cantt, Jalandhar City, Beas
With this addition, Jammu & Kashmir now has 4 Vande Bharat services, while Punjab’s count rises to 3. The route strengthens religious and cultural tourism between two major pilgrimage sites.

Ajni (Nagpur) – Pune Vande Bharat Express
Key Stops: Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Manmad, Kopargaon, Ahmednagar, Daund Chord Line
Maharashtra now operates 6 Vande Bharat trains. This service enhances connectivity between the state’s education and industrial hubs, further boosting opportunities in trade and commerce.

Monsoon to Remain Active, Heavy Rainfall Likely in Several States

The monsoon is set to remain active for the next 10 days, with heavy rainfall expected in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, and Jammu & Kashmir. Over the past 24 hours, parts of Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, and east Uttar Pradesh witnessed significant rainfall.

On August 8, Telangana recorded notable downpours: Atmakur received 14 cm, Kodada and Jadcherla 13 cm each, while Amberpet, Shekpet, and Saroornagar also saw heavy showers. Rainfall between 7–10 cm was reported in many other locations, signalling persistent monsoon conditions.

पाटलिपुत्र से गोरखपुर के बीच चली नई वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन जब निकली दीघा गंगा पुल (JP Bridge) से

प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने बिहार को एक और बड़ी सौगात दी है। उन्होंने सीवान से नई वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन को हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया, जो पाटलिपुत्र और उत्तर प्रदेश के गोरखपुर के बीच चलेगी। गाड़ी संख्या 26501/26502 वाली यह ट्रेन पूर्वी भारत के विकास की दिशा में मील का पत्थर साबित होगी। यह ट्रेन हाजीपुर, मुजफ्फरपुर, मोतिहारी, बेतिया, नरकटियागंज, बगहा और यूपी के कप्तानगंज होते हुए गोरखपुर पहुंचेगी।

यह क्षेत्र महात्मा गांधी, गौतम बुद्ध और भगवान महावीर से जुड़ा रहा है। इस ट्रेन से न केवल धार्मिक पर्यटन को बढ़ावा मिलेगा, बल्कि वाल्मिकीनगर जैसे स्थलों को भी बेहतर कनेक्टिविटी मिलेगी। सप्ताह में छह दिन चलने वाली यह ट्रेन गोरखपुर से सुबह 5:40 बजे और पाटलिपुत्र से दोपहर 3:30 बजे रवाना होगी।
