🌟 About Prerana School
• Location: Vernacular School, Vadnagar, Mehsana district, Gujarat.
• Program Duration: One week.
• Participants: 20 students per batch (10 boys and 10 girls) from various districts.
• Eligibility: Students of Class IX to XII from any recognized school in India.
• Cost: Free of charge; expenses covered by the Ministry of Education.

How to Apply

1. Online Registration: Visit the official portal prerana.education.gov.in to register.
2. School-Level Selection: Participate in ‘Prerana Utsav’ organized by your school. Two students (one boy and one girl) will be selected to represent the school.
3. District-Level Selection: Selected students will compete at the district level, where 30 students will be shortlisted based on various activities and assessments.
4. Final Selection: From the shortlisted candidates, two students (one boy and one girl) will be selected to attend the Prerana program in Vadnagar.

Events like "Intangible Saturday @ Vadnagar" help develop this heritage town as a community-based tourist destination. During yesterday's event, over 25 tabla players showcased various rhythmic and tonal experiments while women from the local Rabari community performed their traditional Garba, an integral part of the Rabari culture. An archaeological experiential museum introduced the rich heritage of Vadnagar. Overall, an enjoyable and insightful community evening worth experiencing.
