Our 19 year old daughter is attending our local community college. She’s living with us to save money and she works 4 nights a week as a waitress to help with her school costs. She came home from work in tears last night, saying she was going to quit her job and drop out of community college and that she’s lost all faith in humanity. We asked what happened and she showed us this receipt. Folks, it’s one thing to stiff your server, but to be flat out mean to a young person simply trying to make their way through the world is uncalled for! If you’re not willing to tip at least 30% every time you eat out, stay home! These servers are all someone’s children or parents! I said what I said!

Today I hung up my apron after 12 years in the service industry. This was my last table of my serving career. They added $200 additional gratuity. Going out with a bang feels good, and I can’t wait to pay all the good tips forward for the rest of my life!

The manager on duty and I are truly stumped. As are other bartenders and regulars. Thinking they switched the tip line with total, but that doesn't make quite sense. $17.40 maybe probably? Don't believe total can be $70 -- only bought back a round, and can't be $40 for obvious reasons.

I process stones and glass with special tools for my crafts, where water is constantly needed. So far I don't have the budget to afford a full-fledged workshop and good equipment. I'm just starting out and making progress on the Tedooo app, so as a temporary solution, I asked my “husband for an hour” to make me outlets so I could work with my tools near water. And left the house for a couple hours to do some household chores. When I came back, this is what I saw. I'm not sure I meant placing sockets in the sink......
