સાબરકાંઠામાં દારૂબંધીના ધજાગરા ઊડ્યા DySP કચેરી પાસે દારૂડિયો નજરે ચડ્યો

ઇડરમાં સરકારી કચેરીઓથી નજીક જ એક શખ્સે દારૂના નશામાં સમગ્ર વિસ્તારને બાનમાં લીધો હોય તેમ ભારે હોબાળો મચાવ્યો હતો. જાહેર રસ્તા પર દારૂડિયાનો ડ્રામા વધતાં વાહનચાલકો અટવાયા હતા અને લોકોમાં ભારે રોષ જોવા મળ્યો હતો. સાબરકાંઠા સહિત ઇડરમાં દારૂબંધીના કડક અમલની વાતો માત્ર કાગળ પર જ હોવાનો આ ઘટના પરથી સાબિત થઈ રહ્યું છે. આ ઘટના બાદ ખાખી વર્ધી સામે અનેક સવાલો ઉઠી રહ્યા છે. દારૂબંધી ધરાવતા ગુજરાતમાં પ્રાંત અને DYSP કચેરી જેવા અતિ સંવેદનશીલ વિસ્તાર નજીક દારૂ ક્યાંથી આવ્યો? આ નશામાં ધૂત શખ્સ કોણ છે અને તેને દારૂ કોણે પૂરો પાડ્યો તે શોધવું પોલીસ માટે મોટો પડકાર બની ગયું છે. સ્થાનિકો હવે ઇડરમાં દારૂબંધીના કાયદાનો કડક અમલ થાય તેવી માંગ કરી રહ્યા છે.

લીલા વસાવાની તબિયત લથડતા હોસ્પિટલમાં દાખલ કરાયા

નર્મદા જિલ્લાના સાગબારા ખાતે છેલ્લા 24 દિવસથી ખેડૂતોના વિવિધ પ્રશ્નોને લઈને ચાલી રહેલા ધરણા પ્રદર્શન દરમિયાન એક મહત્વના સમાચાર સામે આવ્યા છે. આંદોલનમાં સતત 24 દિવસથી ધરણા પર બેઠેલા લીલાબેન વસાવાની તબિયત લથડતાં તેમને સાગબારા CHCથી રાજપીપળા સિવિલ હોસ્પિટલમાં ખસેડવામાં આવ્યા છે.

દરિયામાં બોટ ડૂબી ખલાસીઓ બચી ગયા !

ગીર સોમનાથના ઉના નજીક આવેલા નવાબંદરના દરિયામાં 10 નોટિકલ માઈલ દૂર એક બોટ ડૂબવાની ગંભીર ઘટના સામે આવી છે. દરિયામાં સર્જાયેલા ભારે કરંટના કારણે બોટે જળસમાધિ લઈ લીધી હતી.

વડોદરાના ચકચારી ભાયલી સગીરા ગેંગરેપ કેસમાં અદાલતે તમામ પાંચેય આરોપીઓને દોષિત ઠેરવીને આજીવન કેદની સજા સંભળાવી છે. ૪ ઓક્ટોબર ૨૦૨૪ની રાત્રે નવરાત્રિ દરમિયાન બનેલી આ અમાનુષી ઘટનામાં વડોદરા કોર્ટે ગુનેગારોને છેલ્લા શ્વાસ સુધી જેલમાં રહેવાની સજા ફટકારી છે.

102 વર્ષના જેઠીબેન પાવાગઢના પગથિયા ચડ્યા
