એક સાથે 9 સાવજ રોડ પર આવી ચડ્યા

સાવજ જ્યારે ગીરના જંગલમાંથી બહાર નીકળીને માનવ વસાહત કે રસ્તાઓ પર પોતાની આગવી અને શાહી ચાલમાં નીકળે છે, ત્યારે તે દ્રશ્ય જોવું એ પોતાનામાં જ એક મોટો લહાવો બની જાય છે. આવી જ એક અદ્ભુત ઘટના અમરેલી જિલ્લાના રાજુલા તાલુકાના રામપરા-૨ ગામેથી સામે આવી છે, જ્યાં મોડી રાત્રે એક-બે નહીં પરંતુ પૂરા ૯ સિંહોનો મોટો સિંહબેલાડ એટલે કે પ્રાઇડ અચાનક મુખ્ય માર્ગ પર આવી ચડ્યો હતો. મધરાતે હાઇવે કે લિંક રોડ પર સિંહોની આખી ટોળકી જોવા મળતા વાહનચાલકો પણ એક ક્ષણ માટે થંભી ગયા હતા. જો કે, ઘટનાની ગંભીરતા અને વન્યજીવોની સુરક્ષાને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને રાજુલા વનવિભાગની ટીમ તાત્કાલિક એક્શનમાં આવી હતી અને સિંહોના આ આખા પરિવારને ખૂબ જ સુરક્ષિત અને કુશળતાપૂર્વક રોડ ક્રોસ કરાવ્યો હતો. આ સમગ્ર નજારાનો એક અદભુત વીડિયો પણ સામે આવ્યો છે.

સુરત પોલીસનું 'રિફ્લેક્ટ ટુ પ્રોટેક્ટ' અભિયાન

સુરત શહેર પોલીસ દ્વારા માર્ગ સુરક્ષાને અગ્રતા આપીને એક અત્યંત પ્રશંસનીય અને લોકહિતકારી અભિયાન હાથ ધરવામાં આવ્યું છે. સુરત પોલીસ કમિશનર અનુપમસિંહ ગહલૌત અને ઝોન-૭ નાં DCP શૈફાલી બારવાલના માર્ગદર્શન હેઠળ, ઈચ્છાપોર પોલીસ સ્ટેશન દ્વારા ‘રિફ્લેક્ટ ટુ પ્રોટેક્ટ’ (Reflect to Protect) નામનું ખાસ રોડ સેફ્ટી અભિયાન શરૂ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. આ અભિયાન અંતર્ગત ઈચ્છાપોર પોલીસની ટીમ દ્વારા ભારે વાહનો, ખાસ કરીને ટ્રકો પાછળનાં ભાગે ઉચ્ચ ગુણવત્તાવાળી રિફ્લેક્ટિવ ટેપ લગાવવાની કામગીરી કરવામાં આવી રહી છે.
