The Journal of Scientific Research (JSR) is a more than 50 years old journal published by Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. The JSR is listed in UGC-CARE List of Journals w.e.f. 14-06-2019. The JSR mainly publishes original articles, reviews, case studies, short notes, and scientific letters from all branches of science. The contributions of interdisciplinary nature are highly encouraged for soliciting a wide spectrum readership of our journal.
The JSR is an open access journal and publishing with the JSR makes your work freely available online for everyone, immediately upon publication, and our high-level peer-review and production processes guarantee the quality and reliability of the work.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The JSR welcomes original contributions of fundamental/applied research in all branches of the theory and practice of pure and Applied Sciences (for example: Biochemistry, Bio-Technology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geography, Geology, Geophysics, Mathematics, Molecular and Human Genetics, Physics, Psychology, Statistics, Zoology, and Other branches of science). In selecting manuscripts for publication, the editors place emphasis on the quality and originality of the work as well as the breadth of interest to the scientific community. JSR considers for publication only original work that has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Each issue of the journal, consist of the following sections:
(a) Earth Sciences
(b) Life Sciences
(c) Physical Sciences
Earth sciences include all fields of natural science related to the planet Earth. This is a branch of science dealing with the physical constitution of the Earth and its atmosphere. Earth science is the study of our planet's physical characteristics, from earthquakes to raindrops, and floods to fossils.
Life sciences comprise the branches of science that involve the scientific study of life and organisms – such as microorganisms, plants, and animals including human beings.
Physical sciences consist of the branches of science that study non-living systems, in contrast to life science.
