Salkar highlights that both school buildings are dilapidated, posing a risk to the lives of students and teachers with students even being relocated to other schools

Mormugao MLA raises serious concern over exploitation of Goan youth by fraudulent overseas recruitment agencies. Youth are promised jobs abroad but end up deported, detained or duped. Multiple cases of illegal entry via Mexico, Cambodia, etc. One victim from Mormugao paid ₹16L, jailed 9 months in the US. Govt must verify agencies, regulate fees & set up grievance redressal.

Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar has raised concerns about new restrictions impacting Goa's ex-servicemen community.
Salkar highlighted that there were restrictions on stamp duty exemptions on property purchases and another newly imposed 15-year domicile period which prevents many from accessing this and other state schemes for which they are otherwise eligible.
Salkar emphasized that these changes have left ex-servicemen feeling let down, given their lifelong service protecting the nation. Hon. Minister has assured to look into this matter immediately

On Saturday, July 19, 2025, the Allan Silveira Charitable Foundation hosted a vibrant Prize Distribution Ceremony for the Copel Competition at Village Panchayat St. Lawrence, Agassaim.

The event, judged by 🌸 Ms. Esther Pires, honoured the rich tradition of São João Copel making and encouraged participants to embrace eco-friendly creativity. It was truly inspiring to witness the dedication, talent, and artistry displayed by everyone who took part.
