A clamped vehicle in Vasco Da Gama, folded series of events , the photo of the clamped vehicle amid the disciplinary lines drawn by MMC Vasco was making rounds on Social Network revealed the lines to be illegal according to a notification by South Goa Collector dated 2013 , a social media and Vasco Resident Peter Andrade posted the notification copy , it was revealed how a back dated notification could land MMC in trouble though the parking lines were convenient , The MMC reacted Leo Rodrigues exclaimed the notification would change accordingly , Whereas the same car leaded to discuss about favouritism to few privileged Business house for parking slots.

It was learned just after the tar was carpeted the pot holes started developing near Laxmi petrol pump Vasco , Authorities did the patch up work but now it seems the temporary patching is not helping the situation. The residents of Vasco are irked as after many years the road was hot mixed with efforts of Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar but disappointed with quality of work.

Thomas and Uber Cup badminton: Indian men make semis after 43 years The men’s team beat Malaysia 3-2 to reach the Thomas Cup semi-finals for the first time since 1979 The Indian men’s badminton team edged out Malaysia 3-2 to reach their first Thomas Cup semi-final in 43 years at the Thomas and Uber Cup 2022 in Bangkok, Thailand on Thursday.
The women’s team from India, however, was knocked out of the Uber Cup after losing to Thailand 3-0 in the quarter-finals at the Impact Arena.
India’s Thomas Cup tie against Malaysia went down to the wire with Kidambi Srikanth, HS Prannoy and Chirag Shetty-Satwiksairaj Rankireddy producing the wins.
