This year has been tragic for all of us. The quarantine separated us from our families and friends and locked us in our cages. We all got bored with trying new things and coping with changes. So we spend most of our days under a blanket, a hot beverage, and a list of MOVIES TO BINGE.

Well, my question is, why only binge? When you can learn to make one. You would love to make one right.
Then yes, you came to the right place!!! VIT Film Society is eager to expand its family once again. Years back, we all started this journey, but we all took different paths. We had only one goal - to turn the best scripts into the most memorable movies. The prophecy says, someday, we all must meet together to show our progress. Here we are, hailing from all four branches, VFS reunites with its fellow peers from AP, Chennai, and Bhopal. Script It!

To make a great film you need three things- the script, the script and the script!
This time VFS brings in an opportunity for all creative minds and script writers to pen down their stories and concepts in relation to Digitalisation, temptation and Sacrifice.
Participants are allowed to choose any genre.
Script should be made in the standard script writing format and should be aimed for a short film for anywhere between 5 to 15 minutes. For more details follow the posts on our social media.

A workshop by the VIT Film Society, the objective of this session will be to educate the aspiring filmmakers on how to edit movies and clips keeping in mind the visual tools of cinema to enhance the final quality of their product. We’ll be focusing on a wide range of topics starting from the basics of the script to keeping the editing and sound stages in mind. Developing the scenes from scratch to giving them a final conclusion. This workshop will help you develop a rhythm with-in yourselves while you are converting a normal story into a dramatic way of showing things on screen.
