മുപ്പത്തിയാറ് മണിക്കൂർ നീണ്ട ഡ്യൂട്ടി കഴിഞ്ഞ് സെമിനാർ റൂമിൽ വിശ്രമിക്കാൻ പോയ,കൊൽക്കത്ത ആർ.ജി കാർ ഗവൺമെന്റ് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിലെ വനിതാ ഡോക്ടറെ അതിക്രൂരമായി ബലാത്സംഗം ചെയ്ത് കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയ സംഭവം ഇന്ത്യക്ക് നാണക്കേടാണ്. പ്രതികളെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യാനും നീതി ഉറപ്പാക്കാനും വേണ്ട എല്ലാ നടപടികളും സർക്കാർ കൈക്കൊള്ളണമെന്ന് പ്രതിധ്വനി വനിതാ ഫോറം ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നു.

സ്ത്രീകൾക്ക് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തോടും സുരക്ഷിതമായും ജോലി ചെയ്യാനും വിശ്രമവും പരിഗണനയും മികച്ച തൊഴിൽ സാഹചര്യങ്ങളും എല്ലാം ഉറപ്പുവരുത്താനും സ്വതന്ത്രമായി സഞ്ചരിക്കാനും ക്രിയാത്മകമായ ഇടപെടലുകൾ എവിടേയും ഉണ്ടായേ പറ്റു, അത് അവകാശമാണ്. അത് ഏതൊരു സർക്കാരിന്റെയും ഉത്തരവാദിത്തമാണ്.
