Following this information, fire service personnel rushed to the hospital and brought the fire under control. A short circuit is said to be the cause of the fire accident.

Women’s T20 series with SA:
Vizag to host two matches

Visakhapatnam to host two matches of the five T20 series between the women’s teams of India and South Africa.
According to the schedule announced by BCCI, the series will begin on 21 December and continue till 30 December.
Visakhapatnam will host the first two matches to be played on 21 and 23 December.

The much-awaited inauguration of the glass bridge atop Kailasagiri in Visakhapatnam will take place on December 1.
Known as the skywalk bridge, the 50-metre-long structure, said to be the largest in India, offers visitors a pleasant view of the blue sea, greenery, and the cityscape.

Built at a cost of Rs. 7 crore by the VMRDA, the new attraction is likely to become a favourite destination for the tourists visiting the city.

The bridge has been built with the material imported from Germany, keeping both safety and adventure in mind.
Though designed to accommodate 100 persons, it has been decided to allow only a batch of 40 initially.

Reliance and JV Digital Connexion have jointly come forward to build a 1 GW hyperscale data centre with an investment of Rs. 98,000 crore in the city.
Google, the IT giant, has already inked a pact with the State government to establish a data centre, the largest one outside the USA, in Visakhapatnam.
The proposed projects, once grounded, will change the face of the region.

A class 10 student of Visakhapatnam Government Girls’ Residential School for the Blind, Karuna Kumari, excelled in the match by making 42 valuable runs.

Vizag is set to host the 3rd ODI match between India and South Africa on December 6th, at the ACA-VDCA stadium.

As per the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) officials, approximately 22,000 tickets will go on sale starting November 28th. Fans can purchase tickets through the District App by Zomato. The association encourages fans to book their seats as soon as possible.

The tickets are priced from Rs 1,200 to Rs 4,000 for regular seating, and from Rs 5,000 to Rs 18,000 for the hospitality and semi-hospitality packages.

Both teams will be arriving in the city on December 4. The official practice session will be held on December 5.

Fire broke out at a function hall at Maddilapalem in Visakhapatnam on the morning of 20th November.
With fire spreading fast to the entire building, furniture and other goods in the hall were gutted totally.
Fire service personnel rushed to the place and prevented the fire from spreading to other buildings.
The cause of the Fire is not known immediately.

42 Indians die in a road accident in Saudi

Forty-two Indians, including majority from Hyderabad, were burnt alive in a major accident in Saudi Arabia in the early hours of 17 November.

According to reports, the accident occurred when a bus with Indian pilgrims hit a diesel tanker. The bus was on its way to Madinah from Makkah when the tragedy took place.

The dead include 20 women and 11 children. The pilgrims were reportedly in deep sleep when the accident occurred.
