ભીમરાવ આંબેડકરની જન્મજયંતિ ભારતમાં સમાનતા દિવસ અને જ્ઞાન દિવસ તરીકે ઉજવવામાં આવે છે. તમને જણાવી દઈએ કે, આ દિવસને બ્રિટિશ કોલંબિયા, કેનેડામાં ‘આંબેડકર સમાનતા દિવસ’ તરીકે પણ ઉજવવામાં આવે છે. ડૉ. ભીમરાવ આંબેડકર, જેને ડૉ. બાબાસાહેબ આંબેડકર તરીકે પણ ઓળખવામાં આવે છે,

“શિક્ષિત બનો, સંગઠિત બનો અને ઉત્સાહિત બનો.”

જ્યાં સુધી તમે સામાજિક સ્વતંત્રતા પ્રાપ્ત ન કરો ત્યાં સુધી, કાયદા દ્વારા જે પણ સ્વતંત્રતા પ્રદાન કરવામાં આવે છે તે તમારા માટે ફાયદાકારક નથી.

કોઈ પણ સમાજ ની પ્રગતિ નું મૂલ્યાંકન કરવા માટે હું તે સમાજ ની મહિલાઓની સ્થિતિ નું મૂલ્યાંકન કરું છુ.
