🚨 The 700-Crore Delhi Medical Scam: Where Did Our Public Funds Go? 🚨

A massive ₹700-crore healthcare scam has surfaced in the capital, involving the Central Procurement Agency (CPA) under the Delhi Health Department's Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Here is how public money was allegedly siphoned off through massive overpricing on medical equipment and supplies for government hospitals:

Inflated Prices: Official records showed prices marked up by 200% to 500% above actual market rates.

Shocking Markups: Standard items saw exorbitant rates—such as a normal ORS packet bought for ₹115 instead of ₹50, and portable X-ray machines costing ₹33 lakhs instead of ₹1 lakh. Items worth ₹1 crore were purchased for up to ₹7 crores.

Systemic Corruption: Essential supplies like bed sheets and surgical consumables were systematically overcharged in an organized scheme.

Current Status:
The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) has arrested three individuals so far, with around a dozen more under the radar.
The alleged mastermind and private supplier, Rajiv Rangila, remains untraced.
