Applying for a scholarship is like self-torture for students, as they have to go through various processes to produce the necessary documents required to complete the task.
One of the most complicated and time-consuming tasks is obtaining an income certificate from the District Commissioner or BDO. To acquire the income certificate, students are asked to provide land patta, electricity bills to confirm their permanent residence, Nokma documents, etc. This process takes a significant amount of time to complete. Since the application period is limited, students often have to sacrifice a lot of their time running to offices and standing in queues. Additionally, the process imposes a financial burden on students. They also complain about their previous applications, which are still pending, and the new system has further increased their financial burden.
