What a beautiful song, "Timro Har Prashna Ko Jawab." 🎶
Few days ago, on a call with my musician friend cm brother Deepak, he shared the storyline behind this song, one his uncle had told him, and it completely changed how I hear it now.
The story says love was never the crime. Some people don't leave because they stopped loving, they leave because a wound was carried alone for too long, unspoken, unrepaired, until absence became the only language left.
The song doesn't beg. It doesn't chase. It simply says: "Everything I felt, I already wrote down. If your heart still doubts it, reflect within, why it happened. And if you still can't find the answer, come ask me directly, I've already written it all down, in this letter, through this song."
Blaming the innocent for breaking is the real sin, the one who played with the connection was the same one who played the victim.
It captures a pattern many will recognize, an illusion mistaken for a relationship, only ever a situationship. Patience, effort, devotion, reciprocated again and again only in the form of a situationship, until exhaustion becomes inevitable.
Basically, a song about choosing truth over silence, dignity over staying where your presence is treated worthless and your availability ordinary, until prolonged exhaustion kills every hope.
That's the story Deepak gave me, passed down from his uncle, carried through this song.
After hearing it, I couldn't resist covering this, with the same deep lyrics and tune Deepak Kharel Ji so beautifully sang in the original.
Old is gold. 🎶
