To all the people of chambang ...
Today, although charu Tatung lost the election, it is not just Tatung who has lost—it is a loss for all the people of Chambang. The consequences of this will be seen in the days to come, and one should not regret it later.
Winning and losing are both part of life. There is no second prize in a ZPM election. Shri Charu Tatung gave his very best; unfortunately, he could not secure a sufficient vote margin in his own polling station—otherwise, the result would have been in our favour today.
However, we learn and grow from our mistakes. Losing by just 54 votes reflects how close and competitive this election truly was. This Zilla Parishad Member election was not merely a contest between Hako and Tatung; it was essentially between Minister Balo Raja and Charu Tatung. One is a powerful minister, while the other is a simple man with no political background or financial strength.
Although Tatung did not win the election, he has certainly won the hearts of the people. Competing so closely against a sitting minister is itself a remarkable achievement. Without the direct involvement of the minister, this election would have turned out to be completely one-sided. Many people say, “Whoever wins, CHARU wins,” but the real question is who truly deserves to win. The people know the answer. Unfortunately, in Arunachal Pradesh, money culture—along with job and tender culture—often influences elections, which is why genuine and deserving candidates struggle to succeed.
To all the supporters of Shri Charu Tatung: we all gave our best. Without any background and without money power, we fought with pure intentions, honest effort, and wholehearted public support. We should not feel discouraged. If this spirit continues, one day we will surely see Charu Tatung as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA).
Let us not lose hope. Success will come—it is only a matter of time. Time flies and waits for no one. Soon, we will see our beloved brother Charu Tatung again, standing strong with the people. A good leader is not defined by winning an election, but by standing with the people, guiding them, and working sincerely for their welfare.
So let us cheer him up, because we all know—elections will come again.
