We are delighted to announce that Asst. Prof. Dr. Sheikha Ali Salim Al-Buraiki has joined the Editorial Board of TESOL Today Journal.

Dr. Sheikha holds a Ph.D. in Education (Curriculum & Instruction) from UAE University and a Master’s in English Teaching Methods from Sultan Qaboos University. With over 20 years of experience in English Language Teaching, curriculum design, teacher training, and academic research, she brings invaluable expertise to our journal.

Her research interests include peer collaborative learning, AI integration in education, classroom discourse, and EFL pedagogy—with several publications in Scopus-indexed and peer-reviewed journals.

We are proud to announce that the most read paper in the Journal of Studies in Science and Engineering for May 2025 is "Landslide Risk Assessment and Preventive Measures of Selected Locations in the Rangamati District, Bangladesh", authored by Saif Ahmed Santo, Md. Ehsanul Haque, Akhi Sultana Fariha, A. S. M. Fahad Hossain, and Mehedi Ahmed Ansary. Published on December 25, 2023, this impactful study provides a comprehensive analysis of landslide risks in the Rangamati hill tracts using slope stability analysis and the Weighted Overlay Model in ArcGIS. The findings highlight critical vulnerable zones and recommend practical mitigation techniques such as anchoring, soil nailing, and slope reshaping. Notably, this research offers valuable insights into disaster prevention and geotechnical engineering in hilly regions. We are pleased to announce that the most read paper in Emerging Technologies and Engineering Journal for May 2025 is "Factors Associated with Human-Controlled Motor Vehicle Fatal Crashes in Urban Area Using Fatality Ratio" authored by Raymond Akuh, Charles Atombo, Martin Donani, Emmanuel O. Tettehfio, and Emmanuel Afetorgbor. Published on April 30, 2025, this important study investigates key factors contributing to fatal motor vehicle crashes in Tema, Ghana, using data from 2017 to 2020. The research highlights how age, speeding, wrong overtaking, failure to yield, and crash locations significantly impact fatality risks, with teenagers, unlicensed drivers, and uncontrolled intersections identified as critical contributors. The study also emphasizes that males are more frequently involved in fatal crashes than females.
