كان لي الشرف أن أزور الفاتيكان وألتقي بقداسة البابا ليو الرابع عشر. أكدت على أهمية السلام، وحذّرت من مخاطر خطاب الكراهية، كما شددت على الحاجة الملحّة لإنهاء العنف الجنسي المرتبط بالنزاعات والدفاع عن حقوق المرأة.
وفي ساحة القديس بطرس، انضممت إلى قادة وفنانين ومدافعين — من بينهم أندريا بوتشيلي، جون ليجند — وألقيت كلمة دعونا فيها معًا إلى الوحدة والعدالة وكرامة الإنسان.
I had the honor of visiting the Vatican and meeting His Holiness Pope Leo XIV. I stressed the importance of peace, warned about the dangers of hate speech, and highlighted the urgent need to end conflict-related sexual violence and defend women’s rights.
In St. Peter’s Square, I joined leaders, artists, and advocates — including Andrea Bocelli, John Legend — and delivered a speech calling for unity, justice, and human dignity.
