Visual Work:
Atousa Radmanesh – During War: House on Fire
Atousa Radmanesh (b. 1998, Tehran) is a multidisciplinary artist and documentary filmmaker exploring identity, violence, and hope. Working across painting, sculpture, video, installation, and film, she creates visual narratives that blend personal memory with collective experience—transforming witnessing into acts of resistance and renewal.
This review series pairs her piece During War: House on Fire with nine albums that move through emotion, rhythm, and reconstruction. Each album stands on its own, yet together with Atousa’s work, they form a dialogue between sound and vision—between the collapse of worlds and the return of hope.
