Eight apartment buildings are on fire in Hong Kong At least 13 people are dead forever (including a firefighter)
The fire broke out on bamboo scaffolding of three buildings in the Wang F*k Court area in Tai Po district, then spread to other parts of the buildings.
At present, Hong Kong authorities have issued a fire alert level 5 the highest level for the fire warning scale.
Previously, the authorities classified the fire as a fire alert level 1, but quickly raised it to level 4 and finally to level 5 at 18: 22 local time.
Wang F*k Court consists of eight buildings with nearly 2,000 apartments and about 4,000 residents. The Hong Kong Fire Department has not released the number of people trapped in the buildings.
