Shibiza Recordings Shibiza Recordings is the only Tehran-based independent label founded by Farshad Ferry in 2012.

Inspired by many famous Persians such as Dubfire, Pleasurekraft, Sharam, Omid 16B, Namito, Behrouz, Nima Gorji, Sharam Jey,... the new label will focus on Iranian artists around the world, showing their innate talent for music despite being suppressed by a closed society. The word „Shibiza“ stems from the two places „Shemshak“ in Iran and the famous „Ibiza“, two places with paradoxical demographics, but an even sensation for house music.

Angelo Raguso / Italy / Angelo Raguso was born in the south of Italy. He started his career in 2011 as a minimal producer and he got nice releases on labels such as Flat-Belly Recordings, DC10 Records, Punch Underground and many more. In 2013/14 he changed his style from minimal to techno and he delivered releases on Frequenza, Electrax Recordings, Selected Records, Turning Wheel Records, Musak Records , Sabotage, and many more just to name a few. At the same time he experimented with tech-house and deep-house and he signed his tunes on big labels such as Spinnin’ Records, Natura Viva, El Row, Florida, Looping Records, La Pera etc. Angelo’s music start get support and plays from Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Roger Sanchez, Alexander Robotnick, Felix Kroacher, Florian Frings, Stefano Noferini, Umek, Neverdogs, Karotte, Holln and more.The single “Enjoy The Deep” on Spinnin’ Records with new alias “FAW9” get around 1.000.000 plays from Youtube, Soundcloud, Spotify and other social networks. In 2015 he had releases on Hotfingers too with “Bad Boys” EP which included also big remixes from George Privatti & Guille Placencia and Jesus Nava, played twice by UMEK on his weekly radioshow. He had also signed his music on renowed Italian Natura Viva with a remix from David Amo (from the duo Amo&Navas) played by Marco Lys.
