Blade & Light tells the story of a blind city— a city where demons born of darkness have bound its people through fear and imposed beliefs, robbing them of sight and voice.
The people are not to blame; they are victims, and any sign of light or protest is extinguished at its very birth.
At the heart of this heavy silence, a girl rises from among the people themselves.
A nameless heroine, chosen by fate, entrusted with a blade to bring an end to Ahriman, and a lantern to restore wisdom and light.
In “Shadows,” the collapse and mourning of the collective spirit is revealed.
“Light” brings the first spark of hope.
“Awakening” carries the cry of rising.
“Battle” is the confrontation with fear and the invisible chains of the mind.
And in “Freedom,” it becomes clear that liberation is not a gift, but a light born from fracture and pain.
This orchestral music album is not merely the story of a city.
It is a reminder of a human truth: light must be rekindled again and again, and no night endures longer than the first spark of light.

English text comes in the next post:

Chem XP – Roux‑Ga‑Roux on aNoise.

Pittsburgh–Berlin: aNoise opens pre‑orders for Roux‑Ga‑Roux, a new ten‑track album by Chem XP (Chaz Washington). Written and recorded between 2023–2024, the record follows a Louisiana swamp myth where a half‑man, half‑wolf Roux‑Ga‑Roux turns scraps, old guitars and noise into its own language of rhythm and texture.xp
Chem XP is a Pittsburgh‑based multimedia artist and experimental musician working across sound, sculpture, graphic design, installations, projections and fashion, with roots in the Austin scene. Roux‑Ga‑Roux pushes this practice further into dense, narrative‑driven tracks that move between distorted, post‑club energy and moments of vulnerable, human focus.

New on aNoise.
Burnt Sand Learning to Sing – by Chi Him Chik  and Aquiles Hadjis

Recorded in Tokyo in September 2024, this album captures a raw, open dialogue between Chi Him Chik’s saxophone and electronics and Aquiles Hadjis’s sculptural instruments and hardware setups. The music moves between chaos and tenderness, with an improvisation system (Aiii) occasionally stepping in as an unpredictable extra voice that listens, responds, and reshapes the duo’s sound.
The record is now on digital pre‑order and will be released via aNoise, with its live premiere giving the name and focus to the next chapter of our Confronting Noises series in Berlin. More information about the event:
