Lagaffe Tales is an independent House record label based out of Reykjavik, Iceland run by two dj's/producers, Viktor Birgisson and Jónbjörn Finnbogason. The lack of some sort of framework around the Reykjavík house scene spawned the idea of making something happen and the dream was to launch a label that they could be proud of. The style and image they try to portray are the more down to earth and

unique kind of sound. They have been releasing local talent but keep their arms open for the right kind of sound. Iceland has been known to provide creativity and inspiration to the artist through amazing natural sceneries season after season and it is our goal to share the produce and channelling it forward.

Fimbulfambi is a collaborative project of Áskell Harðarson, Bernharð Þórsson and Þórður Páll Pálsson. Recorded at the iconic Stúdíó Sýrland, Reykjavík, Iceland, in the autumn of 2016. The album documents a series of live sessions, with each track named after the date it was recorded.

Made under the constraint of no sequencing, the album was performed entirely live using electric guitars, bass, synthesisers and drum machines. The result is a collection of raw jams that drift freely, loose in form but rich in feeling.

Sunnudagar gives the feeling of hazy atmospheres carried by analogue textures and warmth at heart. The record draws on the atmospheric language of 90s electronica while retaining the immediacy of live performance that we can all relate to.
