We’re encouraged to see an important environmental conversation coming to the big screen in Iceland.

Time and Water (Um tímann og vatnið), directed by Sara Dosa and featuring Icelandic poet Andri Snær Magnason, will have its local Icelandic theatrical premiere tomorrow (on August 28th 2026), at Bíó Paradís in Reykjavík.

Our glaciers are under threat, and the changes taking place around us deserve our attention and conversation. We hope Time and Water inspires meaningful conversations about our glaciers and the future we are shaping together.
